On 24 August 2021, the latest Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal netherlands Air Force) Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II with serial F-020 (construction number AN-20) made its first flight at Cameri air base (Italy).
Production of KLu F-35As is running at a steady page. The first eight aircraft were produced with Lockheed Martin at Fort Worth (TX), the remainder are produced at the Final Assembly and Check-Out (FACO) line in Cameri.

ALIS Is Dying; Long Live F-35’s ODIN

Citat:An official DoD story noted the installation of the new hardware called the ODIN Base Kit (OBK) on July 16 for Strike Fighter Squadron 125 at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif., and Aug. 6 for the 422nd Test and Evaluation Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The remaining 12 deployments should be finished in 2022.
Between April and May, Pax River testers evaluated the most recent software release for the F-35, designed for the original ALIS Standard Operating Units (SOUs) and the OBK. The OBK is 30% cheaper, 75% smaller and 90% lighter than the ALIS SOU, according to the Joint Program Office.

E druze upravu si nisam ni obracao paznju inace bila zanimljiva predstava u kojoj su nastupali F-5, F-15, F-35, F-22. Inace iz prve ruke 22-ka je bas bas agilna. Evo jos jedna ali ovog puta sa vezom F-35.

Izgleda da PW AETP motor ne moze fizicki stane u F-35:

Iz GE kazu da njihov ce moci ali nece postoji varijanta za F-35B.
Sumljam da ce GE dobiti posao jer nije uoptrebljiv za F-35B plus PW ima znatno veci uticaj, dakle progurace PW neki svoj modernizovan F-35 i to je to.
