Air Force Acquiring Fire-Control Radar for FA-50PH
Citat:The Philippine Air Force (PAF) is allocating some PHP82,543,000 for the acquisition of one transmitter needed for unscheduled maintenance of the fire-control radar (FCR) of one of its South Korean-made FA-50PH “Fighting Eagle” jet fighters.

FA-50PHs are equipped with Israeli Elta EL/M-2032 fire control radar further developed by LIG Nex1.

Iraq takes delivery of first South Korean jets
Citat:Iraqi Air Force (IqAF) commander Lieutenant General Anwar Hamad Amin announced on 16 March that the IqAF has received its first batch of Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI) T-50 jets.
He said the fighters were delivered with weapons and equipment and would enter service in the near future.
South Korea's Yonhap news agency announced in December 2013 that Iraq had ordered 24 of the FA-50 light attack variant of the T-50 trainer under a USD1.1 billion deal.

PH Military Ponders Acquiring 6 More FA-50PHs
Citat:The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is now looking into acquiring six more FA-50PH Fighter/Surface Attack/Lead-in Fighter Trainer (F/SA/LIFT) aircraft for the Philippine Air Force (PAF).
AFP Spokesperson Brigadier General Resituto Padilla said due to the initial good performance impressions given by the aircraft there is a possibility to acquire six more units of the Korean Aerospace Industries, Ltd (KAI) made jet.
“We are constantly evaluating the jet and so far, it’s performance has been good. If we will be given additional funding and authority, we might acquire six more units,” the AFP spokesperson said as quoted by PNA.
