Juzna Koreja predstavila modernizovani AH-1F
ADEX 2015: RoKA showcases upgraded AH-1F Cobra gunship
Citat:The Republic of Korea Army (RoKA) showcased its newly modernised Bell AH-1F Cobra attack helicopter at the Seoul International Aerospace and Defence Exhibition (ADEX) 2015.
A single helicopter that recently went through the USD7 million effort to install defensive countermeasures will be shown at the event from 20 to 25 October.
The RoKA fields 54 single-engined AH-1F Cobras (received in 1988) and six twin-engined AH-1J SeaCobras (1978). The AH-1Fs were previously designated AH-1S before a previous modernisation effort which saw them equipped with Raytheon TOW-2A and Lockheed Martin AGM-114 Hellfire anti-armour missiles.
Under this latest defensive countermeasures upgrade, Orbital ATK was contracted in April 2015 to fit the AH-1F fleet with the AAR-47 missile approach warner system and the AN/ALE-47 countermeasures dispensing system (this latter item was supplied by Symetrics Industries).

Kazu light atack helicopter... Sta je light? Nosi toliko naoruzanja ko apache, dobro...top ima manji kalibar.

Pa jedino zbog oklopa. Jel su početni zahtevi vojske SAD iz 60-ih godina, bili za lako oklopljenim naoružanim helikopterom koji bi prevashodno imao ulogu da štiti transportne helikoptere. Pa je verovatno taj naziv ostao.
