Nije ovaj forum jedini izvor informacija, bar meni. A ako si "iskusan forumas" kako tvrdis, onda stvarno nerazumijem tvoju tvrdnju da su ameri najizgledniji izbor, jer se jelte njihovi proizvodi koriste

Struka je prosli put odabrala Rafal, ali su politicari odabrali Gripen, pa se islo na Gripen. Rafal je ubedljivo pobedio prosli put. S obzirom da menjaju i F/A-18 i F-5, nije nemoguce da odaberu Rafal, kao najkompletniji aviona. Gripen je prosli put odabran kao zamena samo za F-5. Ovaj put su drugacije okolnosti.
Na konto svega toga, Francuska je i kupila od Svajcaraca PC-21. Generalno im ne treba ni za k. Pogotovo ne u broju koji su pazarili.

Svajcarci pregledaju svoje F/A-18C/D Hornet
Citat:The Swiss Air Force is inspecting its fleet of Boeing F/A-18C/D Hornet combat aircraft after (zabranjeno)s were found during a structural inspection of one aircraft on 19 February.
The inspections, which were announced by the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection, and Sport (VBS [previously DDPS]) on 22 February, cover all 31 of Switzerland’s Hornet fighters and will run through to 3 March. The VBS noted that the work will not affect the air force’s operational capabilities.
“The inspection work, which comprises a visual inspection as well as non-destructive testing of materials, began on 20 February. Seven aircraft have already been inspected at Emmen and no (zabranjeno)s could be detected with the component on the upper part of their fuselage,” the VBS said in a statement.

Ex-astronaut to advise on fighter jets
Citat:Former astronaut and military pilot Claude Nicollier has been tapped to study the Swiss Air Force’s procurement plans.
Newly sworn-in Defence Minister Viola Amherd has asked Nicollier to provide a second opinion on the expert report titled “Air Defence of the Future”.
It was based on this report that the Federal Council had decided to buy new fighter jets and ground-to-air missiles for a total of CHF8 billion ($7.9 billion). But during the consultation process, the planning went poorly.
