The Serbian Armed Forces have officially completed the withdrawal of their military hospital from the UN peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic in accordance with a decision of the Government of Serbia and in close coordination with the United Nations and mission command.
The disengagement was finalized in the first days of the year, with the return to Serbia of the last Serbian personnel who had been deployed for the past 6 months.
Serbia’s military hospital had been continuously deployed in the Central African Republic since 2014. The withdrawal marks the end of one of Serbia’s longest and most visible contributions to UN peacekeeping operations in Africa.

A new contingent of the Serbian Armed Forces has been deployed to the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon .
The deployment includes an infantry company from the 2nd Brigade of the Land Forces, along with staff officers and a group of specialist officers.
The Serbian troops were transported from Belgrade to Beirut by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner of the Ethiopian Airlines (Reg: ET-ARF Callsign: ET873 and ET872, Hex: 040088).
