Slovak Air Force seeks training aircraft
Citat:The Slovak Air Force (SAF) is drawing up its requirements for a new modern trainer as it prepares for the arrival of 14 F-16 Block 70 aircraft. The USD1.6 billion F-16 contract is the biggest in SAF history, with the first jets arriving in Slovakia during the second quarter of 2023.

Under the deal, 22 SAF pilots will begin flying training on F-16 Block 52 aircraft at Tucson Air National Guard Base, Arizona, in 2022. They will be drawn mainly from the small fleet of Aero L-39CM/L-39ZAMs currently used as lead-in fighter trainers at Sliač Air Base. SAF commander Brigadier General Lubomir Svoboda told Jane's on 2 August, "The L-39s can last for a maximum of six years but we have started pulling together our needs for a next-generation (NG) trainer as well as a budget.

^^^Genijalci!
Ljudi ćute, rade, školuju kadrove, primaju mlade inženjere, šalju ih na usavršavanja, "ne žive" u prošlosti i pričama kako je njihov avion pre 30 godina "bio najbolji u svojoj klasi" i vremena "JUS" sertifikata...Kada svojim očima vidite takav vredan i pošten pristup poslu (a bio sam na par prezentacija na Mašinskom fakultetu Češkog tehničkog univerziteta u Pragu, gde su ljudi iz Aera gostovali, držali predavanja, nudili stipendije, specijalizacije studentima itd) onda ne možete da im ne poželite uspeh i veliki broj prodatih aviona.

P.S: Možda ovaj avion ili ovo što oni rade nekome odavde sa strane izgleda kao "ništa specijalno", ali za nas je i taj "nivo" trenutno (nažalost) "naučna fantastika"!

Senegalese Chief of Air Force Flies L-39NG
Citat:The first customer flew in L-39NG aircraft. General Joseph Mamadou Diop, the Chief of the Air Force of the Republic of Senegal, made an hour-lasting flight with test pilot of Aero Vodochody Vladimír Továrek on Sunday 6th October.

The first prototype of L-39NG, new jet trainer and light attack aircraft, is currently undergoing intensive flight tests. Aircraft with the manufacturing number 7001 flies almost every day since the middle of September. The L-39NG project now marked an important milestone when the first representative of a customer tried flying the new aircraft.

"I am glad I had the opportunity to try the aircraft on my own. It was a great experience, Aero test pilot Vladimír showed me the great manoeuvrability of the aircraft and I also admired beautiful Czech landscape from the new full glass cockpit providing great view,” said General Joseph Mamadou Diop, the Chief of Air Force of the Republic of Senegal after the flight. Senegal is the first customer of the new aircraft. The West-African country will get four L-39NGs in Light Attack configuration.
