Briti imaju probleme sa motorima
Hawk engine problem will affect UK's fast-jet training output for three years
Citat:UK military flight training will be affected by a problem found with the powerplant of the BAE Systems Hawk T2 jet, with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) saying that the effects will last until the end of 2025.

Answering a question in the House of Commons on 14 September, Minister of State Alec Shelbrooke said that a fault had been identified with the jet engine of the Hawk T2 that the MoD uses for its Advanced Fast Jet Training (AFJT) programme, and that initial assessments suggest an impact on fast-jet training output for the next three years.

“A fault has been identified with the Rolls-Royce/Safran Adour 951 engine, which powers the Hawk T2. The fault affects the components contained in the Safran-manufactured Module 1 of the engine, also known as the low-pressure compressor.

US Navy restarts T-45C flights
Citat:On Monday 31 October 2022, the US Navy resumed T-45C Goshawk flight operations after a safety pause of more than two weeks.

The entire fleet of 193 T-45C Goshawks was grounded after the discovery of an engine blade failure. Some aircraft will remain grounded because the engine blades do not meet the manufacturer’s (Rolls Royce) engine specifications.

The rest of the Goshawk flight operations will stay paused while the US Navy and Rolls Royce continue to analyse engineering data on the “non-conforming parts.”

Royal Air Force grounds its entire fleet of fast jet training aircraft due to engine problem
Citat:The Royal Air Force has grounded its entire fleet of fast jet training aircraft because of an issue with an engine, Sky News can reveal.
It is not known when flying training on the Hawk T2 jets at an air base in North Wales will resume.
The pause will be another blow for a training programme to deliver fast jet fighter pilots that has already been plagued by problems and chronic delays for years.

Sky News revealed last year that an "emerging" problem had been identified with the Rolls-Royce engine on the Hawk jet, used by fast jet recruits for training at RAF Valley.

A source has now claimed the issue involved engine blades wearing out.
