Under the name 'Project Tweet' members of the Arizona Aviation Historical Group (AAHG) have announced that they have been able to obtain five Cessna T-37B Tweeties. The five are currently still stored at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base but will initially be towed to the Pima Air & Space Museum.
Citat:The members of the AAHG intend to restore two Tweeties to airworthy condition, while the remaining airframes may serve as source of spareparts. When finished, the trainers are intended to be flown at airshows across the USA by experienced military display pilots. In doing this, the AAHG aims at improving the image of the Cessna T-37.
