Patnaik, alongside senior officers of the Indian Air Force (IAF), officially accepted the final Airbus C295 military transport aircraft at the Airbus Defence and Space manufacturing facility in Seville. This marks the completion of the first phase of deliveries under the Indian Ministry of Defence’s 2021 agreement with Airbus for the procurement of 56 C295 tactical airlifters. The first 16 aircraft were built and delivered from Spain, and notably, the final unit was handed over two months ahead of schedule.
Citat:The remaining 40 Airbus C295 will be produced in India by Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) in collaboration with Airbus under a full industrial partnership, making it the first time a military aircraft is being manufactured entirely in the Indian private sector. A new assembly line is being constructed in Vadodara, Gujarat, and is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2025. As part of the deal, Airbus has committed to a full transfer of technology and production knowledge, which includes the domestic manufacturing of over 14,000 parts and subassemblies, the development of skilled labor, and the establishment of a robust supply chain across Indian aerospace hubs in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Nagpur.

New Airbus C295MW for Spain
Citat:The Spanish Council of Ministers has approved the budget to replace the current fleet of CN235M and C212 aircraft of the Ejército del Aire y del Espacio (EAE, Spanish Air and Space Force).
This investment will enable the force to establish an Integrated Training System for Transport Pilots (ITS-TP). Airbus Defence and Space will supply eighteen new C295MW transport aircraft: twelve configured for tactical transport of passengers, paratroopers, and cargo, and six specifically designed for paratroop launch operations and cargo missions.
