U.S. Government, Lockheed Martin Announce C-130J Super Hercules Multiyear II Contract

Citat:The Pentagon has approved a Multiyear contract, worth $5.3 billion, to buy 78 C-130Js from Lockheed Martin.

Funding for the first 32 aircraft was released on Dec. 30. The contract will provide the U.S. Air Force with 30 MC-130Js, 13 HC-130Js and 29 C-130J-30s. The Marine Corps will get six KC-130Js and the Coast Guard will have the option to buy five HC-130Js.
The last aircraft under this contract will be delivered in 2020.

Argentina to receive upgraded KC-130H

Citat:The Argentine Air Force (Fuerza Aerea Argentina: FAA) is to shortly receive back into service a Lockheed Martin KC-130H Hercules tanker-transport aircraft that has been modernised in the United States.

Aircraft TC-69 will arrive back in Argentina in the coming days, having gone through an upgrade process which was begun by L-3 at its Waco facility in Texas in October 2014. This work involved the fitting of Rockwell Collins Flight2 avionics to provide a digital cockpit for the 1970s-era aircraft.

Hand Over of C-130H A-1334 Hercules to TNI AU
Citat:C-130H Hercules A-1334 transport aircraft sold to the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) has completed maintenance and modification work at RAAF Base Richmond.
The RAAF retired the last of its 12 C-130Hs in November 2012, and offered four of these aircraft for transfer to the TNI-AU. Another five C-130Hs, along with simulator and spare parts, are being sold to the TNI-AU at a discounted rate. These C-130Hs will further enhance Indonesia’s capacity to respond to natural disasters and humanitarian crisis.
