Citat:The Bulgarian AF received twenty MiG-21MF 'Fishbed-J' aircraft from the Soviet Union.
In 1974, nine standard MiG-21MFs arrived from the Moscow factory, followed by eleven more modern MF-75s from the Gorky plant in 1975.
This type replaced the old MiG-19S and MiG-19PM fighters.
They were in Dobrich. As they had adapted a reconnaissance container from MiG21R. Then they closed Dobrich (the base) in 2000.
Bulgarian AF withdrew the MiG-21MF type from service in 2000
