TURKISH DEFENCE INDUSTRY HEAD REVEALS T129 ATAK-2 PROGRAM
Citat:The Head of Turkey’s Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM) İsmail Demir outlined the projected capabilities and specifications of an improved variant of the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) T129 ATAK attack helicopter, provisionally designated ATAK-2.
The ATAK-2 announcement was made by Demir in his inaugural speech for Alp Aviation’s newly-opened Helicopter Business Center Facility, which will provide subassemblies for the T-70 Black Hawk, which will be manufactured under license by TAI for the domestic market and prospective export users

Manufacturing T 129S Chopper parts: Pakistan seeks $1.5b credit line from Turkey
Citat:A credit line of $1.5 billion from the Turkish government for manufacturing parts of T129 Turkish attack helicopters in Pakistan was a key attraction for Pakistani negotiators in recent days in sealing the crucial deal.
Pakistan has requested the financial arrangement from Turkey for manufacturing spare parts of the T129s choppers and the Turkish government is working to allocate $1.5 billion in credit , sources said.
The Pakistan Army has selected the T129 attack helicopters to replace its aging AH-1F/S Cobra attack helicopters and to complement the Bell Helicopter AH-1Z Viper.
Besides exploring the credit to back the deal, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has also offered Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) parts manufacturing work for the T129 choppers.

Turska razvija novi helikopter ATAK-2 ?
İsmail Demir, podtajnik za tursku obrambenu industriju (SSM), objavio je 3. listopada kako je Turska započela s projektom razvoja helikoptera koji će biti veći i teži od postojećeg T129 koji se trenutno proizvodi pod licencom Leonarda. Turska planira proizvesti 6-tonski helikopter koji će se zvati ATAK-2, proizveden u potpunosti lokalno bez inozemne pomoći. Planirano je da ATAK-2 bude opremljen isključivo domaćim sustavima. Novi helikopter će imati veću nosivost.
