The duo (serials N-978 and N-979) completes the order of nine Romeo's. The helicopters (N-971 - N-979) are assigned to Esk 723 and augment the fleet of EH101 Mk512 of Esk 722 and the AS550C2 of Esk 724 at the air base.

Nova isporuka za RV Tajvana
Citat:The Republic of China Air Force (RoCAF, Taiwan Air Force), took delivery of a second batch of six UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters that er going to serve the Air Rescue Group.
The helicopters already arrived in Kaohsiung Port (Taiwan) on 19 July 2018. The six helcopters were assembled and were delivered to their homebase Chiayi on 20 July 2018.
Aviation News reported that these helicopters wear the serials 933 to 938. During August 2018, the six helicopters, furnished with a red cross, became operational with the Rescue Squadron.

Indijci hoce 24 MH-60R

Citat:India’s Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) has taken a step toward the possible acquisition of 24 Lockheed Martin Sikorsky MH-60R anti-submarine warfare (ASW) helicopters.

The news came in a defence ministry announcement that the DAC has earmarked INR460 billion ($6.4 billion) for new military equipment including helicopters for the navy and artillery for the army.

The package includes INR210 billion for 111 utility helicopters for the navy, which call for rotorcraft in the 5t class.

In addition, the announcement sets the stage for the acquisition of 24 11-12t ASW helicopters under the MRH (multi-role helicopter) requirement.

“To enhance the capability of navy at sea, approval has also been granted for procurement of Anti-Submarine capable, 24 in number Multi Role Helicopters, which are an integral part of the frontline warships like the aircraft Carriers, destroyers, frigates and corvettes. Availability of MRH with the Navy would plug the existing capability gap,” says the statement.

New Delhi had selected the S-70B for this requirement in 2014. At the time, the plan was to order 16 rotorcraft with eight on option.

The acquisition has changed, however, to 24 firm orders, with the MH-60R to be offered instead of the S-70B. In addition, the updated deal will be conducted under the auspices of the US government’s foreign military sale (FMS) process.

Poljska policija dobija prvi S-70 Black Hawk


Citat:PZL Mielec presented the first S-70i Black Hawk (serial SN-70XP) destined for the Polska Policja (Polish Police) on 4 September 2018.
The S-70s are designed especially for the Polish Office of Counterterrorism Operations and will be used for operations throughout the whole country.
The Polish build Blackhawk is one of two machines that will serve the Polish police force. PZL Mielic (part of the US Lockheed Martin concern) received the contract, worth some USD 40 million, for those two helicopters on 30 May 2018.
