Bulgarian Defence Minister Nikolay Nenchev stated in a briefing in parliament on Friday that the contract on the repair of the country's MiG-29 fighter jets by Poland will be ratified in a few days. Nenchev also forecasted that Bulgaria will receive six of the repaired jets until April next year, daily Dnevnik quotes him as saying.

Bugarska nema sta da izgubi ako je jedina kazna za remont kod Poljaka da sporazum s Rusijom o servisiranju aviona vise ne vazi - s obzirom da bi ih Rusija odrala sa cenom za takav remont u svakom slucaju ..... da i dalje vazi sporazum.

Dakle da ukratko prevedemo - Hrvatska "kaznila" ukrajinsku kompaniju s 400.000 USD zbog kašnjenja u remontu/modernizaciji i isporuk i hrvatskih MiG-ova 21.
Još je ispalo i dobro da su kasnili - Migovi ti nisu trebali (jer hvala Bogu nije bilo rata), a uštediš 400.000 USD

Zanimljiv je i dog fight mercury vrs douglas bader u komentarima .
Mada, smjena komandanta rv i pvo ne igra neku ulogu. Ipak je njegovo zanimanje pilot. Sad ko bi dosao na njegovo mjesto i da li bi bolji bio? Piloti znaju je li kvalitetan ili nije. A pilota i aviona malo.....

Poljaci i bugari su potpisali ugovor oko remonta 29-ki
Bulgaria, Poland inked MiG-29s repair contract
Citat:The agreement between Poland and Bulgaria was signed at the background of the warnings of the Russian producer that such a move can bring negative consequences for Bulgaria.
The repair price announced in public is EUR 1.23 million.
According to Bulgarian Defence Minister Nikolay Nenchev, 20 days after the contract signing Bulgaria will receive engines for one of the aircrafts. The Polish Ministry of Defence explained that under this condition Poland will use two repaired engines of the Bulgarian aircrafts for as long as Bulgaria uses the Polish ones.
The Polish ministry also assured that there would be no obstacles for the contract to be signed despite Russia’s warning.
The repair works are expected to be finalised by mid-2016. In addition, Poland stressed that it is not about repair but about modernisation and maintenance.
Russian representatives declared that the signing of this agreement posed risks for the pilots and described Bulgaria’s moves as political.
Apart from the price, another motive outlined by Minister Nenchev to choose Poland was the zeal not to be dependent on Russia.
The contract that was signed will have to be approved by the Bulgarian parliament. The ratification is expected to take place after the local elections in Bulgaria, which will be held on October 25.
