Oni su pametno procjenili da im je bolje ići na remont i modernizaciju domačim snagama,jer u slučaju rata niti bi imali djelove za podmornice niti bilo kakve projektile recimo CLUB ili nešto drugo,ovako je to odradjeno vlastitim snagama i vjerovatno su uradili modifikacije kako bi mogli ispucavati ASCM koje oni proizvode.
U prjektima oko KILO podmornica i MIG-29-ki po svim izvještajima su učestvovali i Indijci,u kojem obimu ne znam,ali ono što znam je da su napravili respektabilnu vojnu silu u perzijskom zalivu sa ogromnim brojem plovila i tu su podmornice medju glavnim pririoritetima,sama činjenica da Iranci posjeduju velike količine mina što kupljenih od Rusa i Kineza što proizvedenei u Iranu stvara respekt kod svakoga.
Malo se ko dotiče ovoga a ovo je nešto što je u strateškim planovima Iranaca.
Mnogi smatraju da pored što je razminiranje dugotrajno da neke mine koje Iran posjeduje i nije moguče ukloniti pogotovo ne sa bespilotnim robotima koje je dopremila USNAVY u P.Z jer recimo posjeduju mine koje leže na dnu sve dok se ne indetifikuje meta i nakon toga se aktiviraju,prate i pogadjaju metu poput torpeda a uz to sposobne su i na izbjegavanje kontramjera,tu su Ruske MDM6 mine koje isto leže na dnu i izrazito su teške za detektovat koje mogu u isto vrjeme djelovat na više meta a po aktiviranju ispaljuju projektil,pa EM-52,EM-11,EM-31..itd,podatak je da posjeduju četvrte največe zalihe mina na svjetu oko 2.500-3.000 Ruske,Kineske,USA i domače proizvodnje i to su napredne vodjene mine opremljene raznim senzorima za detektovanje akustičnog,magnetnog i dr. odraza plovila koje se mogu različito programirati u zavisnosti po potrebi a neke se kontrolišu na daljinu i još 2.500-3.000 mina starije generacije i po mnogima u uslovima P.Z su mine opasnije od bilo čega ali ovako u diskusijama se ne spominju često.

@ Nelsa: Jesi li igdje pronašao informaciju šta je sa najavljenom podmornicom Fateh? Uvođenje je bilo najvljeno za ljeto o.g., ali još ništa o tome.

Head of Iran’s Space Agency (ISA) Hamid Fazeli says the country is set to lift off its indigenous Simorgh (Phoenix) satellite carrier by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 20).
Fazeli said on Sunday that work on Simorgh satellite carrier is underway, and it will be ready for blast-off by the end of Iranian calendar year.
He noted that Iran is going to send its first bio-capsule with a living creature into space soon.
Fazeli highlighted that the project will be mounted on a solid-fuel satellite rocket and it will be launched after the end of the holy month of Ramadan, which ends later in August.
Iran launched its first indigenous satellite, Omid (Hope), in 2009. The country also sent its first biocapsule of living creatures into space in February 2010, using the indigenous Kavoshgar-3 (Explorer-3) carrier.
Moreover, in June 2011, Iran put the 15.3-kilogram Rasad (Observation) orbiter in space. Rasad's mission was to take images of the Earth and transmit them along with telemetry information to the ground stations.
Iran also launched Navid-e Elm-o Sanat (Harbinger of Science and Industry), another indigenous satellite into orbit on February 3, 2012.
The satellite is a telecom, measurement and scientific one, whose records could be used in a wide range of fields.
Iran is one of the 24 founding members of the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, which was set up in 1959.
Tehran also plans to launch the country's first manned mission to space by 2019.

Fateh podmornica treba biti uvedena početkom Iranske nove godine koja po našem kalendaru počinje 20 marta,znači za neki 6-7 mjeseci,bar je tako službeno navedeno.

Največi problem Irana jes, što ima dvije armije - regularnu te vjersku gardu. Uvjek je tu bilo rivalstva, a razultat je bilo neadekvatno ponašanje na bojišnici uz velike žrtve.
Iran ima loše vojno avijaciju i protivvazdušno odbranu i nema ni u bodučnosti mogučnosti, da to ispravi.

Velike žrtve su se dogodile, jer je Iran bio u nestašici municije, artiljerijskih oruđa i svega ostalog, a ne zbog "neadekvatnog ponašanja" i gluposti, koje se izmišljaju "ad hoc". U situaciji u kojoj je Iran, postojanje elitne formacije, koja će brzo reagovati i koja je nepotkupljiva zbog ideološke linije, je absolutno neobhodno,
Iran, polako, ali sigurno gradi i jača svoj PVO. O tome se dosta pisalo i vrabac je to konstatovao. I nastaviće , to većim dostignućima. Iranska doktrina je asimetrična, zato avijacija nema prioritet, jer mnogo košta, čak i kad bi se mogla kupiti bila bi lako izbačena iz stroja. zato su PVO i pasivna sredstva odbrane, bolje rešenje skupa sa balističkim raketama i lakim snagama koje bi brzo minirale persijski zaliv.

I ovo što imaju je sasvim dovoljno za odbranu i svi znamo da napadač koji ide na integrisan sistem PVO i avijacije mora biti najmanje u odnosu snaga 4:1 pa i više.
Iran ima isključivo defanzivnu doktrinu sa radijsom djelovanja avijacije ogrničenim na susjedne zemlje P.Zaliv,Omansko more i djelove Indijskog okeana i jedno je opremati vojsku za odbranu a sasvim drugo za napad i tu mnogi postavljaju sutuaciju u odnos 1:1 što je naravno glupost.

President Ahmadinejad will also visit an exhibition of the latest achievements of the Defense Ministry and its related organizations, including the Iranian Aerospace Organization (IAO), Defense Industry Organization, Iran Electronics Industries, and Armed Forces Geographical Organization.
In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems.
In July, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) test-fired indigenous missiles during a three-day military drill, codenamed the Great Prophet 7.
The tested missiles included Shahab (Meteor) 1, 2, 3, Khalij Fars (Persian Gulf), Tondar (Lightning), Fateh (Victor), Zelzal (Quake), and Qiam (Uprising).
Iran has repeatedly assured other nations, especially regional neighbors, that its military might poses no threat to other countries, insisting that its defense doctrine is merely based on deterrence.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has unveiled six new major defense achievements on the occasion of the national Defense Industry Day.
The achievements, which were unveiled during a ceremony in the presence of Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, included an enhanced version of fourth generation Fateh (Victory) 1D-110 missile, Armita flying laboratory, Bonyan (Foundation) 4 marine engine, Aras tactical vehicle, Vafa (Loyalty) mortar launcher as well as Shahed tapping and positioning system.
Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Reza Taqipour were also present at the ceremony which was held on Tuesday.
Referring to the Fateh 1D-110 missile, the Iranian defense minister said during the ceremony that, “This missile is one of the most precise and advanced ground-to-ground ballistic missiles with solid fuel and has played an influential role in enhancing the defensive prowess of the Islamic Republic over the past decade.”
Iran successfully test-fired the fourth generation of its indigenous Fateh 110 precision missile on August 4.

Pitanje za one koji se razumiju, kakva je to protiv vazdusna baza koja je dom za 6000 vojnika? Izgradnja baze kostat ce 300 miliona dolara, baza ce posjedovat 7 bataljona (kakvih? to se i ja pitam...) i bice gradjena po najsavremenijim standardima i tehnologijama u svijetu, konkretno moje pitanje je, da li se moze izgraditi vojna baza koja je dom za 6000 vojnika i posjedue super modernu tehnologiju za svega 300 miliona dolara???
Iran Starts Building Powerful Air Defense Base in South
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian military has started construction of its largest air defense base in Southern Iran, a senior commander announced on Tuesday.
Deputy Commander of Khatam ol-Anbia Air Defense Base for Engineering Affairs Mohammad Hosseini further added that the new air defense site is built in the city of Abadeh in the Southern Fars province.
He said the air defense base is due to be built at the cost of $300mln and will have 6,000 personnel for a large array of duties, including educational ones.
Hosseini also said that the super modern air defense base will include one of the most important military training centers of the country which will be comprised of seven battalions.
Meantime, representative of Abadeh at the parliament, Rahim Zare', said "this air defense site will be the product of the achievements gained in all areas of science in the world".
Tehran launched an arms development program during the 1980-88 Iraqi imposed war on Iran to compensate for a US weapons embargo. Since 1992, Iran has produced its own tanks, armored personnel carriers, missiles and fighter planes.
Last month, a senior Iranian air defense commander stressed that all Iranian air defense units and systems are fully prepared to repel possible enemy air raids.
"Ground-to-air missile and artillery systems of Khatam ol-Anbia Air Defense Base of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army are fully prepared to defend the Islamic homeland's territory," General Shahrokh Shahram said in July.
