Izasla je nova Odbrana, a u njoj intervju sa generalom Sretom Malinovicem:

Prema onome sto je naveo u intervjuu, RFI je poslat proizvodjacima sledecih aviona: Suhoj, MiG-29M2, MiG-35, Gripen, Rafal, F-16, F-18, Typhoon. Prakticno - svima.
Iz jednog drugog clanka u istoj Odbrani moze se naslutiti da su Francuzi zaista zainteresovani za ucesce na buducem tenderu za nabavku visenamenskog borbenog aviona jer su napomenuli kako bi zeleli da odrze zvanicnu prezentaciju svog aviona.

Nasima je izgleda zapala za oko Thales-ova oprema kojom mogu da unaprede artiljeriju (Noru, VBR...).
Na SDPR-ovom standu je poster na kome se pri dnu vidi VBR i sugerise domet 40 / 90 / 150 km !

Кинеска војска почела петодневну војну вежбу

Вежба, у којој учествују припадници морнарице, копнених и ваздухопловних снага, спроводи се у провинцијама Шандонг и Хенан, јужно од Пекинга.
Како се наводи, у три симулирана напада војници ће бити у ситуацији да одбране главни град од напада из ваздуха.
Припреме за вежбу нису одржане, тако да ће указати на време потребно за одговор војске на овакве непланиране догађаје и удруживање јединица под различитом командом, наводи ЦНС.
Око 100 летелица различитог типа учествује у вежби, уз јединице противваздушне одбране и артиљерије.
Међународни институт за мир из Стокхолма (СИПРИ) процењује да је прошле године за кинеску Народну ослободилачку војску, која броји 2,3 милиона припадника, увоз оружја и истраживања и развој у области одбране издвојено 100 милијарди долара.

Zajednicke Rusko-Americke vjezbe
WASHINGTON, August 3 (RIA Novosti) - The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the Russian Air Force will hold their first-ever joint air defense exercise on August 8-11, NORAD said.
The exercise, dubbed VIGILANT EAGLE, involves Russian, Canadian and U.S. Air Force personnel operating from command centers at the Elmendorf airbase in Alaska, and in Khabarovsk, Russia.
"Airborne warning and control aircraft [AWACS E-3B and A-50] from Russia and the United States will be involved along with fighter-interceptor aircraft and refueling aircraft from both countries," NORAD said in a statement on Tuesday.
The exercise scenario, put together by NORAD and U.S. Northern Command, will create a situation that requires both the Russian Air Force and NORAD to launch or divert fighter aircraft to investigate and follow a U.S. flagged commercial air carrier on an international flight that has been taken over by terrorists.
The exercise will be carried out under a cooperative military agreement between Russia and the United States, which tasks NORAD, the bi-national U.S. and Canadian command, and the Russian Air Force to conduct a live-fly exercise for up to five days.

Vlada države Beliz pozvala je komandu američke vojske da testira novu bespilotnu letelicu Boeing A160 Hummingbird kod njih !?!

Patria wins the Swedish armoured wheeled vehicle contract
Citat:The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has today announced that the contract for 113 armoured vehicles goes to Patria. The contract includes an option for another 113 vehicles. The value of the deal is approximately SEK 2.5 billion.
- I am very pleased that the FMV has found our AMV vehicle to meet best their requirements. We offer the Swedish soldiers a safe and field-proven vehicle which can be of vital importance in the extreme conditions the soldiers operate. At the same time we offer Sweden a true Nordic solution as well as 100% offset. Since the operating principle of Patria is strongly networked this contract is significant to our co-operators in Finland and abroad – especially in Sweden where Patria has also had a long cooperation in the area of the armoured military vehicle supply. Patria’s focus on its key competencies will be also strengthened further since the final assembly of AMVs will take place in Finland, states Mr Seppo Seppälä, President of Patria Land & Armament Oy.
The 113 vehicles ordered by the FMV will be delivered by the end of 2013 for making it possible the Swedish Army to have the operating capability with them during 2014.
Patria AMV was launched in 2004. Until today Patria has contracts for some 1300 vehicles with among others Finland and Poland.

Litvanija rasprodaje svoje avione
Litvanija će uskoro ponuditi na aukcijsku prodaju dva svoja transportna vazduhoplova An-26B i jedan Aero L-39 Albatros po početnim cenama od 437.000 US$ i 167.000 US$.
Reč je o ispravnim avionima kojima su istekli resursi i potreban im je remont (An-26B) ali i koji predstavljaju višak u litvanskoj floti jer litvansko RV raspolaže sa tri nova C-27 Spartana. Isto se odnosi i na ponuđeni Albatros - litvancima će za njihove potrebe ostati još dva Albatrosa za trenaž pilota.
