More Dassault Falcon for the French Armed Forces
Citat: The Falcon 2000LXS has been selected to fullfill that role for the following missions: Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Search and Rescue (SAR), Anti-Surface Warfare (AsuW) / Electronic Warfare, Maritime Reconnaissance (MR) and Reconnaissance and Over-The-Horizon Targeting (OTHT), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), law enforcement, piracy control, fishery patrol, drug interdiction, environment protection, medical evacuation and personnel and light equipment transportation. During a maritime surveillance mission, the Falcon 2000 can fly 4,000 nautical miles from its base and cover an area of nearly 150,000 square nautical miles in 8 hours.

The order for the Aéronavale's new surveillance and maritime aircraft, planned for 2020, is under preparation and will initially consist of seven Falcon 2000LXS. An option for six more needs to be confirmed in 2025. The first three Falcon 200LXS Albatros aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2024 and 2025, the remaining ten should follow between 2026 and 2030.
