The project contains 16 AselPod to Pakistan
Deliveries start in 2017.

-The platform AselPod integrated, is certainly JF-17.
-All software changes, upgrades and power units and related works will be done by Aselsan and to be delivered to Pakistan.
-Pakistan will develop pylons for AselPod. Aselsan sent an empty AselPod to Pakistan for pylon integration efforts.
-Integration efforts have been commenced in 15 June 2016

BTW, 16+73 AselPod will be delivered to Turkish Air Force.
Besides, Pakistani pilots flight with Turkish fighters equipped with AselPod and used them actively in Turkey. The green light is given with satisfactory results of Aselpod in the hands of Pakistani pilots.

AselPod detection range:

-25 km lazer target pointer
-45km detection range for aerial targets (the size of an F-16 fighter)
-15km detection range for main battle tanks
-55km is the general detection range for an avarage target HvKK considers for Aselpod.


-AselPod is able to guide GPS/INS and Lazer guided munitions !
-Aselpod thanks to super wide view angle thermal mode which can be screened on HUD screen on fighters, converts it as navigation pod as well.
-Contrary to liquid cooled pod Lantirn, AselPod uses Air cooled system which is way superior.
-Thnx to two way data-link system AselPod will gain, It will be used as not only Targeting but also Surveillance Pod which is able to provide the real-time datas to friend land and air units.

Shri Lanka je spominjana pre par meseci kao kupac pa nista, a sada su objavili kupovinu 8-12 novih lovaca. Indija je vrsila pritisak da ne uzmu JF-17 pa ako ne uzmu njega onda moguce FA-50 ako idu na jeftinije. Tejas nije gotov.

Mogli bi Indijci da im proslede nekoliko Mig-21 od 245 koji su još u resursu za međuvreme dok Tejas ne bude gotov. Nije to neka žrtva, radi se o avionima kojima je cena uz važeči resurs nekoliko stotina hiljada dolara.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), as part of preparations towards inducting new platforms, is expanding the apron at the military wing of Yola International Airport to enhance air operations against insurgency in the Northeast. The NAF, at present, is at the verge of inducting the Mi-35M helicopter gunship and JF-17 Thunder Fighter Ground Attack aircraft in addition to acquiring the Super Mushshack trainer aircraft. There are also strong indications that the US Government may give the nod sooner than expected with regards to the sale of Super Tucano to the NAF to replace the aging Alpha Jets. The proposed fleet expansion, according to the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar necessitated the expansion of existing facilities including the apron, pilot crew room, office/residential accommodation and recreation facilities newly put-in place to enhance the welfare of the personnel and reposition the NAF for effective and efficient air operations.
