Citat:Bloomberg reports that Boeing “is concerned about the ability of” Indonesia to finance the deal to buy F-15EX fighters.
Earlier in February, the U.S. government cleared the sale of up to 36 F-15EX fighters to the South East Asia nation. The deal is worth $14 billion, figures given by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency show.
Indonesia’s Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto had also said late last month during a visit to the United States that the country wants to pay for the F-15EX deal in installments.

Izrael je zvanicno poslao zahtev za 25 F-15EX a moguce je i dupliranje narudzbe. Menjaju vremenom starije A/B/C/D i modernizuju 25 F-15I. Novi avioni se ocekuju 2028. ali moguce je da zatraze da budu ranije.

Buying Just 80 F-15EXs Makes No Sense


Citat: If the Air Force truly intends to buy just 80 F-15EXs, as they have stated at the highest level, I would argue that they should not buy any and should cut their losses immediately. This is a very hard pill to swallow, but based on what we know now, and saving a few caveats we will discuss below, an 80-aircraft fleet makes no sense and sets the F-15EX cadre up for being slashed totally in the future.
Instead, the Air Force should proceed with its original 144 F-15EX buy, or a well-justified number very near or greater than that amount.
