Citat:The new "Enhanced Aerial Firefighter" is a completely modernised version of the classic Canadair CL-215 waterbomber. C-GFBN was built in 1985 and served for many years as N262NR/Tanker 262. The specially selected airframe has been converted to turbine configuration using the Viking-supplied conversion kit. It features a new Collins Pro Line Fusion® integrated digital avionics suite, Pratt & Whitney PW123AF turbine engines, increased fire-retardant capacity, and improvements to numerous aircraft systems. The Viking CL-415EAF represents the evolution of the type, providing best-in-class water drop performance utilizing the higher delivery 2-door water drop system combined with a zero-timed maintenance programme and a 'new aircraft' factory-supported warranty programme.

Citat:On Monday 20 April 2020, the first of five former Luftforsvaret (RNoAF, Royal Norwegian Air Force) C-130H aircraft, N132CG (c/n 382-4338) still adorned with its former Norwegian serial 956, left its storage at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson (AZ).
Coulson Aviation (USA) Inc. purchased the five C-130Hs with the ultimate goal to convert these transporters into aerial fire fighters.
