South Korean Air Force to Buy Cargo Planes, PAC-3 Missile Interceptors
Citat:South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration will set aside approximately $1.125 billion for the procurement of four cargo planes and PAC-3 missile interceptors.
The exact type of aircraft to be purchased for $432 million (480 billion won) has yet to be decided, with the C-130J Hercules or A400M Atlas airlifter being on its list, South Korean media reported citing DAPA. The Air Force wants to sign a contract by 2026.

South Korea launches fifth FFX II Daegu-class frigate Daejeon
Citat:South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) has launched the fifth Daegu-class frigate for the Republic of Korea Navy at its Okpo shipyard.
Named Daejeon, the frigate received pennant number FFG-823 and will be delivered by the end of 2022, after further fitting out and trials.

RoKAF chief lost his job after less than one year of service
Citat:The Republic of Korea Air Force (RoKAF) Chief of Staff Gen. Lee Seong-yong has resigned on Jun. 4 over the handling of a sexual assault case that led to the death of a female master sergeant.The victim died of apparent suicide in late May. She suffered mental distress after being molested in a car by a colleague of the same rank in March.
The victim’s family has accused the air force of covering up the investigation.
Lee offered to step down on Jun. 3 and his resignation was quickly accepted by President Moon Jae-in. Lee had been on the job for less than one year after taking up the position in September 2020.

Ovaj razvoj je dobar primer, a ne evropske kvazi vojske koje žive u uverenju da ostatak sveta ima strele, a oni jedini barut.

The aerial refueling tankers will bring a new crew to bring the warship home and to bring home everyone onboard the warship home for medical treatment.
According to NHK, the warship had docked at a port in Africa and crew members developed flu symptoms soon after that.
