Indian authorities have imposed a Penalty on the French firm Dassault Aviation for the Rafale Offset Obligations
Citat:On Friday , French Minister for armed forces Florence Parly said that they are ready to answer any additional needs or requests of India for Rafale fighter Jets , including for its indigenous aircraft carrier.
Now, it is being learned that, the Indian authorities have imposed a Fine on the French firm Dassault Aviation last month over delays in offset obligations , that originated from the 2016 Rafale Deal with India.
Citat:Though exact value of 'Fine' is not made public , it is understood that , the Penalty amount will be come from the €185 million bank guarantee from Dassault Aviation, that was parked as an instrument against contractual violations.

Rafale M will begin ski jump testing at INS Hansa this week
Citat:Hindustan Times says French Navy Rafale M fighter will be at INS Hansa to carry out suitability trials with the ski jump there.
The trials, which begins on Jan. 6, is to determine whether the French fighter is a good fit for Indian aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. Testing will last 12 days.
The same article says India might lease up to five Rafale Ms when INS Vikrant is commissioned later this year.
Boeing will be next when it sends its Super Hornet to INS Hansa for similar trials in March.
