Ameri i dalje nude filipinosima polovne F-16...ali njihov zakon za sada ne dozvoljava kupovinu polovnjaka

This effort is separate from current effort to procure new Gripen Cs.

The F-16 procurement from a 3rd party is just a quick solution, and getting more & newer F-16s from US is still part of agenda considering 3 squadrons of F-16s are eyed. Hot transfering F-16C/D Blk 40 or 50/52s is what really the PAF wanted, gradually updating them to Blk 70.
