Interesting fact.
In Poland, MiG-23s had a service life of several hundred hours, but the so-called calendar service life was ending and the aircraft required a second major overhaul. This mainly concerns the MiG-23UB.
The lack of prospects for modernization made it necessary to gradually withdraw the MiG-23 from service in the 1990s.
