1. Merkava vec ima solidnu zastitu delova koji su dosta slabi na dosta drugih tenkova.
2. 75% "resenja" iz Ukrajine ne radi nista osim sto daje +1 na moral posade.

Bački kasapin ::PG-7V/VL granata koje se uglavnom kače na FPV dronove.
PG-7 VL pod 90 stepeni bi verovatno probila krov ako nema ERO*-a u istom (neke Merkave imaju, neke ne ERO u sklopu kompozitnog oklopa. Sa ERO-om je solidno zasticeno, pod vecim uglom tesko da ce probiti i bez ERO-a.
Bokovi, ima ERO, treba tandem. Zadnji deo trupa je slabiji, ali tu su dodatne spoljne kutije i spoljni rezervoari.
Bokovi kupole zavisi od modela i da li je ERO u sklopu kompozitnog oklopa. I ako nema ERO-a pod nekim uglom ce da stiti.
Zadnji deo kupole je opet slabiji, ali koliko je poznato takodje ima neku kolicinu kompozitnog oklopa i ERO (opet, zavisi od modela i podvarijante).

Postoj naravno oslabljene zone, oko izduva, oko poklopca vozaca, donji deo bokova trupa, prednja donja kosa ploca itd, itd.
Takodje nisu sve Merkave, cak i ako su formalno istog modela bas jednake.

Izgleda onda da su izraelci prespavali 4god rata u Ukraini.
Neke stvari da, neke veoma nisu. REB recimo su veoma pazili, stoga jako mrsav uspeh Hezbolaha i Hamasa (nakon prvog hvatanja na spavanju) sa BPL, uprkos ozbiljnim pokusajima.
Pomaze naravno sto su i Hezbolah i Hamas prespavali bitne lekcije oko BPL.

Kad ruske bombardere napadnu dronom na otvorenom, Rusi su kao bili glupi jer nemaju kaponire.
Ne spinuj, vise puta je objasnjeno zasto strateski bombarderi nemaju kaponire, ni u Rusiji ni u Americi.

Rusima se zamera sto nemaju kaponire, a nekada ni najobicnije hangare za lovacku i LB avijaciju.

Ameri priznaju neki broj ranjenih, to varira, ali mrtve u poslednje vreme ne pominju.
Iran tvrdi da su pogodili dva skloništa sa više stotina USA vojnika, plus ova baza u S.Arabiji što je razlupana, svašta nešto se desilo u skorije vreme...
Tako da se pitam da li je moguće da zaista nije bilo mrtvih?
Ili su sada odlučili da to kriju iz propagandnih razloga? Priznavanjem ranjenih ali ne i mrtvih, kreira se kao slika u javnosti da nije po njihovu stranu situacija toliko loša.
A pošto Tramp i ekipa inače izgiboše od truda da kažu nešto istinito i realno kako vidimo iz dana u dan, verovatno je i oko ovoga ista situacija...

TRIAGE CATEGORIES
Casualties with conventional wounds and injuries
are sorted into four triage categories or priorities: (1)
immediate, (2) delayed, (3) minimal, and (4) expectant.
Because triage is an ongoing process of reassessment categories can be upgraded or downgraded.

Immediate
Casualties in this category are the highest priority.
Their conditions demand immediate resuscitative
treatment to save their lives. Casualties in this category
present with severe, life-threatening wounds. Generally, the procedures used to correct these conditions
are of short duration and are economical in terms of
medical resources. Stabilize all immediate casualties
first, before treating injuries that are not life- or limbthreatening. Salvage of life takes priority over salvage
of limb. Examples of injuries in the immediate category
include the following:
• massive, uncontrolled external bleeding (eg,
amputations or junctional wounds);
• threat of loss of limb (eg, risk of amputation
or multiple extremity amputations);
• hypovolemic (hemorrhagic) shock;
• airway obstruction or potential compromise;
• open pneumothorax (sucking chest wound)
with respiratory distress;
• tension pneumothorax;
• torso, neck, or pelvis injuries with shock;
• head injury requiring immediate decompression (eg, intracranial hemorrhage);
• retrobulbar hematoma;
• unstable abdominal wounds with shock; and
• any burns of the face, neck, hands, feet,
perineum, or genitalia.

Delayed
Casualties in the delayed category are those who
have less risk of losing life or limb if treatment is
withheld for a period. This group includes those who
require surgery but whose general condition permits
a delay in treament without unduly compromising
the likelihood of a successful outcome. When medical
resources are overwhelmed, soldiers in this category
are held until care is provided to the immediate cases.
Sustaining measures will be required for casualties
while they are waiting (eg, fluid resuscitation, fracture
stabilization, administration of antibiotics, pain relief).
Examples of injuries in the delayed category include:
• maxillofacial wounds without airway compromise;
• open chest wounds without respiratory distress;
• blunt or penetrating torso injuries without sign of shock.• eye and central nervous system injuries;
• soft-tissue wounds requiring debridement
and without significant bleeding (all combat
wounds will require some form of debridement);
• fractures;
• burns that cover 20% or more total body surface area (TBSA);
• survivable burns without an immediate threat
to life (airway, respiratory) or limb; and
• genitourinary tract disruption.

Minimal
Casualties in the minimal, or ambulatory, category
are also called the “walking wounded.” Patients in this
group have relatively minor injuries (eg, minor lacerations, abrasions, fractures of small bones, and minor
burns). They can adequately care for themselves or
require minimal medical care, such as would cleansing,
minimal debridement under local anesthesia, administration of tetanus toxoid, and first-aid dressings. Often
they can be managed by self aid or buddy aid. These
casualties may also be able to assist with movement
or care of other injured personnel.
Minimal casualties must quickly be directed away
from the triage area to uncongested areas, where first
aid and nonspecialty medical personnel are available.
Casualties in this category usually are not evacuated
to an MTF.
If a MASCAL incident occurs near an MTF, these
will likely be the first casualties to arrive, bypassing
or circumventing the casualty evacuation chain. Such
casualties may inundate the facility, leading to early
commitment and ineffective use of resources. It is
imperative to secure and strictly control access to the
MTF immediately when notified of a MASCAL event
to prevent such occurrences.
Most casualties fall into the minimal category. Examples of injuries in the minimal category are:
• minor lacerations or abrasions;
• contusions;
• sprains and strains;
• minor combat stress reactions;
• first- or second-degree burns under 20% TBSA
and not involving critical areas such as hands,
feet, face, genitalia, or perineum;
• upper extremity fractures without neurovascular compromise;
• suspicion of blast injury (eg, ruptured tympanic membrane); and
• symptomatic but unquantified radiation exposure.Expectant
Expectant casualties are those so critically injured
that even advanced and prolonged treatment is unlikely to save their lives. This group, given the situation
and resource constraints, is considered unsalvageable.
During a MASCAL situation, they would require an
unjustifiable expenditure of limited resources that are
best used for saving the lives of several other soldiers.
Separate expectant casualties from the view of other
casualties; however, do not abandon them. Above

Eh sad, kada NY Times pise "very heavy injuries" u vezi bombardovanja balistikom avio baze u Saudijskoj Arabiji, to moze biti u stvari "immediate" a bogami moze i "expectant", ako je teska kontuzija od "blast overpressure", pa ti unisti krvne sudove u mozgu i plucima. Svjedocio sam kolegama koje su prezivile efp ied, bez ociglednih rana kao krvarenje od gelera . Nakon desetak sekundi krv pocne da curi iz usiju, nosa, i usta sa kasljem, i nazalost preminu u nekoliko minuta i to je to. Nista nemozes da uradis za njih, bez da im ruku drzis dok ne predju u onaj drugi svijet. Kolega koje je odradio sluzbu u Ukrajini sa RF (Dzuki) mozda ima bolje informacije u vezi tih povreda jel on je sigurno vise toga vidio nego ja po vukojebinama Iraka onomadah.
