The tests include, inter alia, special radar installation checks, communications checks and electronic warfare checks in an environment of all kinds of interference and threats.
The "Fly Test Aircraft" is subjected to exhaustive tests every day with those in charge measuring its behavior and performance with the help of special equipment.
When all the tests of the "Fly Test Aircraft" at Edwards Air Base are completed, the fighter is expected to fly to Elgin Air Base in Florida this summer. There it will undergo new exhaustive tests mainly in the Anechoic Chamber.
By the end of 2021, according to the plan, the "Fly Test Aircraft" fighter will return to Greece with the production line at HAI taking over.
According to the plan, in 2022 in the Hellenic Aerospace Industry a total of 8 F-16s will be converted into Vipers, in 2023 another 14 and in 2024 another 16 which will return to two fighter Squadrons in order to immediately establish the first operational Viper Squadrons.
The upgrade will be followed by another 16 in 2025, 18 in 2026 and the program will be completed in 2027 with the last 11 fighters.

Naleteli su sa 48 primeraka bez gubitaka
Nisam ocekivao tako veliki nalet s obzirom da su Poljaci dugo vremena izbdgavali ucesca i konfliktnim zonama i misijama tog tipa
