Last training flight for Hawk T1s at RAF Valley on Anglesey
Citat:The last training flight of Hawk T1s at RAF Valley on Anglesey has taken place.
The older training jet planes are being phased out, along with the disbandment of 208 Squadron, and will be replaced with more T2 jets.
Last week, it was revealed up to 53 jobs were under threat as a result of the changes, as T2 replacements will not arrive for another year.

BAE System Managing Director, South-East Asia and India, John Brosnan, said the upgrade would equip the RMAF Hawk MK108 and MK208 aircraft with the latest technology and ensure the aircraft meet all future operational requirements.
