Juzna Afrika propada kao drzava vec duze vreme... Aparthejd je bio nesto lose ali sada se krenulo u drugu krajnost, postavljanje crnaca na pozicije u drzavi na svim nivoima samo zato sto su crnci a ne zato sto su strucni, a taj sistem kvota je dosao i do vojske. Drzava u padu, ekonomija u padu, budzet u padu...
Belci a i imalo imucniji crnci tamo zive u cetvrtima sa zidovima oko kuca, elektricnim ogradama i privatnim naoruzanim kontraktorima koji ih cuvaju, i to ne neki veliki bogatasi, nego inzinjeri, doktori... I ljudi prosto odlaze...

Uzeli minimalnu količinu delova da bi imali što jeftiniji inicijalni paket. A posle nisu dokupili...
Tri otpisana zbog oštećenja, a jedan se još čerupao za delove....
Prošle godine ili beše 2013 su Hawk-ove stavili u borbena dežurstva jer im Gripeni bili skupi.
A Cheeta-C su ladno izbacili posle 10 godina službe.
Mada se navodi da su im neki (pri kraju proizvodnje) bili i novonapravljeni, a ne reparirani Mirage III.

Brazilski Gripeni ce biti opremljeni izraelskim oruzjem

Saab signed its USD245 million weapons integration contract for the Gripen E/F with the Brazilian government in April 2015. Besides the Rafael systems, the proposed weapons fit for the 36 aircraft currently under contract includes the Denel-Avibras-Mectron A-Darter short-range air-to-air missile and the Diehl BGT Defence IRIS-T short-range air-to-air missile.

Swedish Gripens get new upgrades
The Swedish Air Force Saab JAS39 Gripen fighter aircraft will have new capabilities by the end of Sprin 2016. According to FMV officials, the Gripen C/D will have their hardware and software in the 2.0 version. That will enhance the platform’s long-range air-to-air and air-to-ground capabilities.
The upgrades will allow the Swedish fighter to use the MBDA Meteor BVRAAM and extend its long-range air combat capabilities. Being a ramjet missile it will make it harder for enemy aircraft to protect themselves, according to Michael Östergren, Project Manager at the Swedish Procurement Agency (FMV). Saab Dynamics is a member of the consortium of companies developing and producing the missile.
The platform will also have its air-to-ground capabilities upgraded through the integration of the Small Diametre Bomb (SDB). This would be complemented with a new CBRN protection system, allowing the pilot to operate in a contaminated environment and the aircraft to be cleaned thoroughly upon returning to its base.
Another section to be upgraded is the flight control capability with the addition of the Ground Collision Avoidance System (GCAS). That will prevent the aircraft from hitting the ground in case that it enters an uncontrolled situation.
Finally, the Saab JAS39 Gripen team continues its effort to make the platform easily maintained by developing the built-in aircraft and engine test systems.
