Lockheed Receives Mission Planning Contract for Potential F-16 Sales to India, Pakistan, 21 Other Nations
Citat:Lockheed Martin received a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) contract worth $64.3 million for F-16 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) mission planning.
It involves FMS to Slovakia, Bulgaria, Taiwan, Morocco, Greece, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Singapore, Slovenia and Thailand, a U.S. DoD release today said.
This contract provides for the development, integration, test and delivery of the Joint Mission Planning System Unique Planning Component/Mission Planning Environment software updates.

Of the countries mentioned, India, the Philippines and Croatia do not possess F-16 jets.

Work is expected to be completed by January 2029.

Hellenic Air Force F-16V ready to depart to USA
Citat:Weather conditions permitting, the Hellenic Air Force Lockheed F-16C-52+ Fighting Falcon, serial 005, will depart Tanagra air base to SABCA, Gosselies (Belgium) on Thursday 4 February 2021.
There the F-16V will be joined by two or three USAF F-16s (Shaw AFB) for the ferry flight to the USA. The following two Shaw AFB 20th Fighter Wing/79th Fighter Squadron F-16CMs are reported to join the ferry flight; 91-0379/SW and 00-0226/SW. It is possible that the third Shaw AFB F-16 will join.
In the USA, the Greek F-16V will receive the last upgrades and the certification of the work done by Hellenic Aerospace Industries (HAI), clearing them to proceed with the upgrade on other aircraft. Greece awarded Lockheed Martin a USD 280 million contract to upgrade the air force’s fleet of F-16C-52+ and F-16D-52+ over the next seven years. These F-16s will be upgraded to the Block 70/72 Viper configuration. The modernisation of 84 F-16s in the "Viper" version is expected to be completed by 2027.
