Cini mi se da je ovo sa promocije u Brazilu. Nije razumljivo bas iz opisa fotografije.

I pored toga sto su isporucili poslednji Gripen C pocetkom ove godine i sada pocinju sa proizvodnjom prototipa E/F, Svedjani kazu da nece odustati od verzije C/D, bilo kao novo-proizvedene, bilo kao "refurbished A/B" :

Kao potencijalne kupce C/D vide gomilu zemalja, ali ne i Hrvatsku (nema je na spisku).

Svedjani imaju prilican broj A/B na stanju, kazu da je mala razlika u ceni izmedju novoproizvedenih C/D i konvertovanih A/B.
Mozda je kupovina polovnih "obicnih" A/B prava stvar, ako je cena prava?

Bright Future For GE’s F414 Fighter Engine

Citat:GE Aviation will ship the first flight test F414-400 for a single-engine application to Saab later this year for the Gripen E, and production will begin in 2017. “We will have 90 engines on order by the end of this summer for Gripens for Sweden and Brazil,” says Jean Lydon-Rodgers, vice president and general manager of GE Aviation’s military systems. “And we expect that to increase as the Swedish order grows.”

The engine was also selected by India for the LCA Mk.2. The first flight test engine will ship in the fourth quarter of this year, with production to begin in 2018.

Filipinci u pregovorima da iznajme JAS-39 Gripen C/D

Citat:Saab has disclosed last week that they are currently in talks with the Philippines for its Multi Role Fighter requirements slated for delivery in 2018.

Ulf Nilsson, Head of the Aeronautics division, said at the Paris Air Show that Saab is offering its JAS-39 Gripen C/D combat aircraft to the Philippines which it marketed as future proof jet fighter under its continuous upgrade programme to keep it at the forefront of military capabilities through to at least 2035.

The C/D aircraft which has an estimated price tag of US$61 million can be converted to the more advanced E/F models, according to a senior company representative.

danas je u varaždinu aeroshow, gripen nije sletio na vž aerodrom ali sam ga uspio par puta uslikati solidno, imam sliku u većoj rezuluciji, ovo je screenshot sa mobitela, imam i dva odlična videa, prelet, budem postavio putem youtube-a

Czechs prepare to send Gripens to Iceland

Citat:The first part of Czech soldiers to prepare conditions for five JAS-39 Gripen fighters that will guard Iceland's airspace for approximately one month left the base at Čáslav, central Bohemia, today, representatives from the military have told the Czech News Agency.
The advanced team is 35 strong. Another part of the ground personnel will arrive in Iceland Friday. A total of 65 to 70 Czech soldiers are to be deployed in Iceland until Aug. 25, said Rostislav Lukáš, from the Čáslav base,.
