Dva aviona tipa Hawk iz poznate aerobatske grupe Red Arrows su se sudarila prilikom treninga iznad Kipra gde uglavnom i provode vecinu vremena kada ne gostuju po svetu.
Drugi Pilot se zove Dave Montenegro! Oba su ocigledno prezivela posto su se uspesno katapultirali. Sve je dobro kada se dobro...
"light Lieutenant Mike Ling was last night recovering from injuries sustained when he ejected over an airfield in Crete.
The team Synchro Leader dislocated his shoulder ejecting from the aircraft just before 2pm local time.
His colleague, Flt Lieut Dave Montenegro, also ejected from his £5million RAF Hawk jet but he landed safely and was unharmed.
Nine Hawks, which can reach speeds of 550mph, were doing pre-season training at Kastelli airbase before flying to Cyprus for display practice.
Investigations have now been launched into the incident, thought to be the first serious red Arrows crash for nearly 40 years. In a blog posted last month, Flt Lieut Ling said he was in his third and final year as team Synchro Leader.
‘Since the New Year we have had a slow time getting the manoeuvres taught, practiced and perfected,’ he revealed.
‘The weather has presented many problems for our training and it’s now getting to the point that we should have all of our second-half manouvres in our repertoire, to work on consolidation.’
They flew their first full run of the display on March 10. ‘It’s all very exciting,’ he wrote.
The team arrived on the Greek island on Sunday for the first stage of Exercise Springhawk.
The Red Arrows, who put on 90 shows a year, started performing in 1965.
The last time Red Arrows planes collided was in 1971, when four pilots were killed and two aircraft destroyed during training."

Samo se jedan avion srušio pa shodno tome samo se jedan pilot katapultirao. Drugi je bezbedno sleteo.

Uzice ::Sporno vozilo je teralo krila aviona Orao 25112 i jutros u 9.30 je zakacilo jedan krak elise iznad puta koji prolazi pored hale ispred koje je stajao Mi-8.
Na zalost kamion je moje firme, a vozac koji je tuda prolazio i pre tri dana, danas nije uocio elisu.
Meni sve ovo miriše na to da je Uzice hteo da jeftino nabavi novi eksponat za svoj muzej

"Samo" 3 godine je proslo a vec su objavili fotku koja bi pre 10 godina stojala zauvek zatvorena u arhivama.
