Znao sam za ovu cifru od 138 aviona ali se to ipak odnosilo za one u VVS ,dakle `Su-27S`

The Su-27 is an interceptor, all of them, by speed, performance and design,, was designed for air defence role
Su-27P it is a tricky designation to bypass the FACE treaty, given that USSR already had thousands of aircraft capable of ground attack
The difference between the Su-27S and the Su-27P is basically that the P is more modern and also that it took away the little hardware it had for ground attack, which is why it was called "interceptor" when it was already, by the fact that now it was only capable of air-air
Some Su-27S was updated as Su-27P , but not all
About "western statistics" are not very good
By 1990 there are several Su-27 units out the sily-PVO jurisdiction, basically forward forces in mixed operational commands depending of high command , that of course had attached air defence regiments (Su-27 and Mig-23) togeher with the forntal units

To ne moze biti, SM/SM3 jesu modifikacija verzija S i P sa pridodatim radio-pelengatorima,novo verzijom N001 i to N001V valjda ,OLS-27 pomeren u stranu i jos neke pojedinosti ali svakako da nisu na nivou jednog Su-35S.
The main difference betwwen Su-35S and SU-27SM3 is the radar and the variable vector propulsión
Su-27SM3 is gen 4+ and Su-35 is gen 4++
S/P > SM > SM3 > 35
The Su-27SM3 was the last step before to start the Su-35 production, the 12 Su-27SM3 and the first 2 serial Su-35 was manufactured at the same time the year 2011

Mnogo su vece razlike kolega izmedju Su-35S i Su-27SM3.Samo ste jednom naveli da je Su-35S sasvim nov avion na bazi Su-27S. SM3 je samo konverzija/modernizacija i to ne nesto veca u odnosu na Su-27S a Su-35S je ipak velika -duboka modernizacija Su-27S. Pocev od konstrukcije i strukture planera aviona ( novi strukturni materijali ) ,radar,motori ,oprema i senzori itd . Su-27SM3 nema mnogo toga sto ima Su-35S .
