The new system increases firing accuracy five times. It can hit targets at distances between 150 and 10,000 meters with the help of guided laser beams. A missile with a cumulative warhead can pierce armor up to 1,300 mm thick. The designers say the system, which can also attack air targets, can be used to protect troops against drones and attack planes.
Odličan video, može da zezne i aktivni sistem zaštite, kao i da obara helikoptere, dronove. Ima i F&F i može pucati u pokretu. Ovo je po meni sistem br.1 u svetu.
Pa lepo ti piše da se služi laserskim navođenjem a to znači da nije Fire & Forget. Zato i ima dve stanice na vozilu da bi mogao barem 2 cilja od jednom da gađa i time malo kompenzovao sporost sistema.

cesto se kod rakete (raznih ne samo PO) pominje minimalna daljina.. a sta ce biti ako ja ispalim nju na blizu metu? (dal ce unistiti metu, ili je to "stavljeno" da bi se zastitio onaj sto ispaljuje od eksplozije)?

Comparative analysis of the Kornet-EM system performance specifications with those of its foreign counterparts shows that in the aggregate the former 2.5-3.0 times exceeds the latter in terms of combat efficiency at the same time being simpler in use and maintenance and featuring 3-4 times cheaper ammunition which as an expendable component to great extent defines army operating costs.
The use of a proximity target sensor guarantees reliable engagement of aerial targets at any range. Combined with high explosive warhead the target proximity sensor makes it possible to compensate possible misses by destruction of UAV (or helicopter) by overpressure, if miss does not exceed 3 m. The maximum flight range of the missile being equal to 10 km ensures Kornet-EM system s advantage in fighting helicopters as it enables the system to fire from a stand-off distance.
Therefore, if required the Kornet-EM ATGM system is able to perform some functions of a force formations from helicopter and UAV attacks. No other systems on the market are capable of this. Joint use of Kornet-EM ATGM system adapted for countering low speed aerial targets with standard air defence assets significantly improves total efficiency of land forces tactical units air defence

Kornet-EM sa SACLOS sistemom gađanja (Laser beam riding) nije F&F jer moraš držati na nišanu cilj do pogodka. Naravno da je KORNET-E spor sistem u smislu akvizicije ciljeva jer gubiš vreme držeći cilj na nišanu sve dok raketa ne pogodi cilj. Kod F&F nanišaniš opališ i odmah možeš tražiti nov cilj dok kod SACLOS sistema gubiš vreme držeći laser na meti do pogodka. Rakete sistema F&F namerno su malo sporije da bi lakše mogle slediti ciljeve u pokretu i da bi operater imao vremena da raketu preokrene na drugi cilj u poslednjim sekundama ako bi bilo to svrsi shodno. Kod F&F operater možeodmah da zaboravi raketu i nišani nov cilj pa prema tome sama brzina rakete nije prioriteta jer ona će stići do cilja i ništa se tu nemože uraditi. Lasersko nišanjenje je definitivno slaba strana KORNETa, jer noviji nišanski sistemi sa laserskim senzorima na tenkovima automatsko okreću cev ka izvoru lasera i nišanđija može vrlo brzo da dejstvuje.
Razlika između novog Korneta-EM i prijašnje verzije E osim dometa i nekih drugih sitnica je u tome, da je KOrnet-EM deo daljinsko upravljane stanice i da operater netreba okom da bude na optici samog sistema nego se nalazi u vozilu i preko monitora dejstvuje. To jest novina ali daleko od toga je to F&F.

Ovaj nov Kornet funkcionise slicno kao Vihr. Meta se prati automatski. Ali opticka vidljivost izmedju lansera i mete mora postojati.

Kad su već napravili autotracking što nisu išli dalje i napravili IC glavu za KORNET? Pa nije to za Ruse nešto nedostižno kad već prave IC v-v rakete. Ne razumem kako nisu kadri napraviti i IC PORS?

Presudna je količina raketa u naoružanju koju nemožeš tek tako otpisati i stalni kupci koji traže jednostavnije i jeftinije sisteme.

Slazem se sa svim sta ti kazes (i u prethodnim postovima, na primer oko top-attack kod zapadnih raketa itd), ali koliko sam ja shvatio u snimku pracenje cilja moze i automatski, znaci rekli su da ima auto-track ili auto-follow funkciju, valjda zato ima dva nezavisna startera. Iz jednog ispalis jednu ili dve rakete sa ukljucenjim auto-track, i onda iz drugog ispalis na drugi cilja sa auto-track-om, i onda se vratis prvom jer je on do tad vec pogodio cilj, itd..

Smatraju da je njihovo resenje efikasnije i prakticnije i da zapadne firme nemaju ekvivalent Kornetu....TOW-2 se na primer jos uvek navodi zicom.

ATGM "Cornet" is characterized by:
- Simplicity of use - does not require highly qualified personnel.
- Versatility of application, defeats all the targets outside the range of effective return fire of the enemy;
- The laser emission coding allows adjacent systems to deliver crisscross fire at different targets or at one target simultaneously
- high precision combat application, including in adverse weather.
- The possibility of combat application in conditions of electronic and optical noise (for example, provides protection from the effects of "Shtora-1" (Russia), Pomals Piano Violin Mk . L (Israel), in contrast to second-generation anti-tank systems TOW , Milan -2 T , Hot -2 T , "Konkurs" etc., which in these conditions, sharply reduced efficiency due to inoperable direction-finding channels of the missiles);
