East Timor selects Weststar cargo military vehicles

Citat:Weststar group subsidiary, Global Komited, will supply ten Weststar General Service (GS) cargo military vehicles to the East Timor defence force under a new contract signed on 10 June. The vehicles are being acquired as part of the East Timor defence force’s plans to expand its military vehicle fleet.

The vehicles will be delivered within the coming four months. According to the company, a further 40 vehicles are ‘in the pipeline’ to be delivered later in 2014, with the total worth of the contract estimated at approximately RM11 million (£2 million).

The 4x4 light utility Weststar GS Cargo military vehicle is designed for a range of security and defense roles. The 750kg vehicle is available in various configurations that include hard and soft tops as well as manual and automatic transmissions, and can carry up to ten soldiers with full gear and cargo.

Trinidad pazario od kineza 20 vozila MengShi 4×4

The MengShi EQ2050 is based on an imported AM General Hummer H1 chassis. The DFM EQ2050 is powered by a Dongfeng license-built Cummins EQB150-20 110 kW/2,700R turbo-charged diesel, but it can also be fitted with the U.S.-made V8 diesel originally designed for Humvee.

Both vehicles have a 5-speed gear box and a 2-speed transfer box.

Radi se o vozilu Ford F-550 XL 4X4 SWAT koji je blindiran u američkoj firmi specijalizovanoj za blindiranje vozila Alpine Armoring

Polish Special Forces chooses German Offer Of A Multi-Purpose Vehicle

German armored AMPV, likely to go to service in Poland commandos.

German consortium consisting of the Rheinmetall (Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles in this case) and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann companies has developed the Armoured Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV).Together with ROSOMAK S.A. company, the works have been undertaken to tailor the new vehicle to the requirements of the Pegaz programme which is being run by the Polish Ministry of Defence, and the AMPV is also offered as a new Patrol vehicle for the land forces.

Poland launches tender for 882 4x4s

Citat:The Polish Land Forces launched a tender on 23 July to buy 882 light multipurpose 4x4 vehicles to replace its fleet of ageing Honker and UAZ469 jeeps.

Poland seeks 841 soft skin vehicles and 41 armoured variants with gross vehicle mass under 3,500 kg to be delivered in 2016-2022. The new vehicles will be called Mustang.
