&zixo Nije tu u pitanju samo siromaštvo države, već je problem u tome što je tadašnja vlada koja je sklopila ugovor o nabavci to loše odradila, pa je naknadno sklapan poseban ugovor o održavanju aviona. Još gori ugovor su sklopili kad su kupovali Cougar, pa im tako trenutno samo 1 leti, jer ostali čekaju realizaciju ugovora o održavanju i inspekciju na 500 h naleta, samo nešto su se ućutali oko toga, izgleda im ide mnogo kilavo.

Australia Targets Mid-Nov. for Its First C-27J's Maiden Flight
Citat: The head of Australia’s New Airlift Project Office revealed the maiden flight of Australia’s first C-27J Spartan tactical airlifter will occur in Italy in mid-November, two months ahead of schedule.
Australia is buying 10 C-27Js under Project AIR 8000 Phase 2 via a Foreign Military Sales agreement with the United Sates. L-3 Communications is the prime contractor and the first Spartan is due to be handed over at L-3s facility in Waco, Texas, in the second half of next year.

Italian AF to Finance MC-27J Gunship
Citat:Alenia Aermacchi and the Aeronautica Militare (Italian Air Force) signed today, during the Dubai Airshow 2013, an agreement to provide development, testing, certification, industrialization and logistic support of the Praetorian. The Praetorian, a specialized version of the MC-27J, will support missions for the Italian Special Forces, Comando Operativo Forze Speciali (COFS).
The Praetorian project will consist of two phases. During Phase One, Alenia Aermacchi will develop and deliver a prototype of the Praetorian to the Italian Air Force in spring 2014, immediately followed by testing in an operational scenario. Phase Two will encompass the industrialization of the Praetorian configuration and related logistic support.
The Italian Air Force plan to transform three C-27J’s, currently in service, into the Praetorian configuration during 2016 and will include mission systems, C3ISR equipment and palletized support / fire systems. An additional three aircraft will also have the same mission package capabilities.
