Citat:The described engine is a modified version of the basic R-11 engine (R-11-37F-2S, short: R-11), the one of the MiG-21PFM/SPS/some M's and MiG-21US (Type 94, Type 68 ). However, it is very similar to the one (R-13F25-300, short: R-13) used in MiG-21MF. The MiG-21BIS has the R-25 engine which significantly differs from the previous R-11/13's. I'll add the R-25 schematics at a later time.

Citat:This is the MiG-21SMT with R-25-300 engine. This is the pre-production bis aircraft based on SMT with s/n: 500АЧ22. It is in not so great condition now, but still exists. Judging by the fact that the aircraft has an old emergency pitot TA-156, after a series of tests he was no longer flying. On all operational MiG-21s old PA-7 and TP-156 were replaced in the early 70's. This plane was later used as a learning aid.

Live missile without warhead, it was a downgraded version in speed, a bit slower missile than the R-3R, but with the same body.

R-3P was not in stock at an average fighter-wing, only at Damgarten, Astrachan, Mari...
The last two were at the Southern part of the Sovietunion, in a countryside like desert.
