Na vertikalcima se kao i kod Su-27S ( P/UB/UBP tj SM/SM3 ) vide 3 radio-prozracna panela za VHF/UHF radio-kom antene .Sad je pitanje ,da li su u iste ugradili dodatne antene L-pojasa ( visinomere ) za 3D lokaciju -pelengaciju ciljeva .

Ovaj ` L-pojas` je zlata vredan kod Suski ,35S i 57 ,radna frekvencija 1,25GHz ,talasna duzina 2.4dm .Cilje velicine 1m2 bi mogao da otkrije sa 100-200km sa tim da to 1m2 nije isto kao i kod X-pojasa ( tamo je vrednost daleko manja ) .Videli smo iz primera 3D metalnog sim-modela F-22A gde bas na nekih 1.25GHz on ima RERP 40dBm2 ( oko 200m2 ) .

Why has the L-band been so popular? With operating wavelengths of the order of 6 to 12 inches, it permits good long range search performance with modestly sized antennas, while providing excellent weather penetration, and reasonably well behaved ground clutter environments compared to shorter wavelength bands. In airborne radar applications, L-band offers an additional economy, as a single L-band design can combine conventional primary radar functions with secondary IFF/SSR functions, thus saving considerable antenna and transmitter/receiver hardware weight, cooling and volume. The latter are alone sufficient reasons to employ this otherwise heavily congested band.

Another less frequently discussed consideration is that L-band frequencies typically sit below the design operating frequencies of stealth shaping features in many fighter aircraft and UAV designs. Shaping features such as engine inlet edges, exhaust nozzles, and other details become ineffective at controlled scattering once their size is comparable to that of the impinging radar waves. This problem is exacerbated by the skin effect in resistive and magnetic materials, which at these wavelengths often results in penetration depths incompatible with thin coatings or shallow structures.

It was therefore not surprising that during the 2000/2001 Australian media debate over the Wedgetail AEW&C aircraft, US participants were quick to vocally argue the “counter-stealth” capability of the Wedgetail's L-band AESA radar design.
The Tikhomirov NIIP L-band AESA design is an important first step in developing the full technological potential inherent in an L-band multifunction aperture design, and once fully integrated and matured on the Flanker airframe, this design is likely to be become the vehicle for progressive incremental addition of further capabilities over time, a deployment model increasingly popular in modern Russian designs, and widely practiced in the West.

The effectiveness of the design in any of its intended or potential roles will critically depend upon how well the AESA has been designed. Power-aperture product performance will be especially important in Counter-VLO search/track roles, and any active jamming roles.

Performance modelling for a range of feasible configurations indicates this radar will deliver tactically credible search range performance.

Valjda jesu,i kuca se gradi od temelja do krova pa neverujem da su takav bitan elemenat izostavili.

U AB Bezovec -Karelija su svojevremeno preleteli iz Komsomoljska na Amuru/KnAAZ , 8000km sa 3 punjenja kerozinom u letu .Optimalna brzina dugotrajnog krstarenja tokom ovakvih dugotrajnih preleta je M 0.85 na H=13km .

Mislim da ovako dugotrajne prelete treba da izvode sa pauzom na pola puta. 8 sati je previše za pilota. Ili mozda tokom tih 8 sati pilot većinom "odmara" jer nema potrebe za promenom kursa leta?

Nema tu mnogo posla za pilote ako ukljuce auto-pilot a koji je uvezan sa RBSN i RSDN te drugim avionskim sistemima veze tj radio-kom. te nav. opremom i uredjajima .Naravno kurs je unapred zadat ,tesko da ima promena na mars-ruti.Videli smo da su Su-57 iz KnAAZ leteli do Zukovskog ali sa usputnim sletanjem u Novosibirsk- AB Tolmacevo .

Prisetimo se i onog preleta dugog oko 8000km kojeg su izvele posade MiG-31BM tokom 2013g,takodje sa tri dopunjavanja u letu .

Oni cini mi se kao da nemaju one optoel. detektore/senzore ispod kabine a do onog okruglog belog radio-prozracnog panela od data-link sistema .Pitanje je da li Ruje isporucuju Kinezima Su-35 sa onim AFAR radarima L-pojasa ? Cini mi se da se na slikama vide oni sivi radio-prozracni paneli na predkrilcima ...

E na ovoj slici se vidi da su oni senzori ipak tu Smile
